Registered Nurse - Outpatient - Full Time
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse rooms and assesses patients, implements quality care for patients with a wide variety of medical surgical conditions, evaluates responses to nursing interventions, and serves as a resource on nursing issues. Under indirect supervision, provides professional nursing care and coordinates the delivery of treatments to assigned patients in a medical facility, ensuring adherence and nursing procedures, standards, practices and ordered infusions. The RN is also responsible to assist clinical support staff as needed for patients who need infusions or treatments. 

Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of treatment procedures, facilities and equipment.
Knowledge of supportive care principles and techniques for patients.
Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements.
Ability to perform nursing assessments and patient triage.
Patient Assessment and referral skills.
Knowledge of bereavement counseling techniques. 

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, and licensed as a registered nurse in the state of South Dakota.
  • Current CPR 
  • Minimum  of two years of prior nursing experience preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, computer skills, and the ability to function as both a leader and a team member
