The Scheduler answers telephones, schedules tests and procedures, greets patients, family members, visitors and co-workers, provides patients with instructions, instruction sheets, and “preps” for tests, provides general assistance for physically ill patients, and interacts with medical providers.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Prior Receptionist experience is preferred.
- Telephone etiquette, effective communication skills, and the ability to respond calmly and professionally in emergency situations are required. Knowledge of computer keyboard, facsimile, and medical terminology is preferred.
- Respect for and ability to follow Clinic’s Confidentiality Policy.
