Full Time Customer Service/Insurance Representative
Position Summary
The Customer Service /Insurance Representative assists patients with insurance related questions and problems, corrects insurance computer screens, assists patients in filing insurance claims and completing insurance forms, works with insurance companies to pre-certify patients for surgery, answers patient correspondence, and performs related duties. Preferred Experience in Medicare Billing.

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Prior Customer Service experience is preferred.
  • Telephone etiquette, effective communication skills, and the ability to respond calmly and professionally in emergency situations are required.  Knowledge of computer keyboard, facsimile, and medical terminology is preferred.
  • Respect for and ability to follow Clinic’s Confidentiality Policy/HIPAA Policy/Procedures.
