Better Breakfasts for Better Learning

8/17/2018

It’s not just an old saying, it’s a fact research has confirmed. A nutritious breakfast will help you child retain more of what they learn and concentrate better in school.

Too often, many kids skip breakfast because of busy schedules or early commutes. According to the USDA, students who don’t eat a healthy breakfast in the morning have a lack of concentration, slower recall, difficulty paying attention, and a diminished academic performance. Other issues with aggression, anxiousness, hyperactivity, and behavioral difficulties have been found as well.

Below are a few make-ahead breakfasts that will ensure your student can get the most out of their school day:

Almond Cereal Bars

Overnight Oats

Freezer Breakfast Sandwiches

Nutella & Banana Sushi

Microwave Mug Omelet
