Specialty: General Surgery

Dr. Edwin Gerrish was raised in Mobridge and received his professional education at the University of South Dakota, beginning with his Bachelors Degree in 1974. He followed this with his MD at the USD School of Medicine in 1978. He performed his Internship at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska until 1979. He subsequently relocated to Cleveland, Ohio, where he received advanced training in surgery by completing his residency at University Hospital's Case Western Reserve until he came to Watertown in 1983. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is Board Certified with the American Board of Surgery.
