Dr. Fausch, North Central Heart Institute, is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed residencies in Internal Medicine at the University of Rochester Associated Hospitals in Rochester, New York, Cardiology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, and Interventional Cardiology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.


Dr. Fausch is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology. He is a Fellow with the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American College of Physicians and the Clinical Cardiology Council. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine.
