Dr. Clark W. Likness, Medical Director at Brown Clinic, was awarded his bachelor's degree from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion in 1974. He continued at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine and attained his medical degree in 1978. He stayed in Sioux Falls to perform his internship at McKennan Hospital and his residency at the Sioux Falls Family Practice Center. He has maintained his ties with Sioux Falls through teaching appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Family Medicine, USD School of Medicine.


Dr. Likness is board-certified with the American Board of Family Practice. In addition to practicing family medicine, Dr. Likness serves as the medical director of the clinic. His personal recreation includes time spent with his family. He and his wife, Gerry, have three children, Lincoln, Micah, and Kelsey. He enjoys showing horses and doing yard work. He and his family also spend time enjoying many sports and are actively involved in numerous community activities.
