Dr. Catherine Gerrish pursued further education by attending the University of South Dakota, receiving her Bachelors Degree in 1974. She continued at the USD School of Medicine where she accepted her MD in 1978. She moved to Omaha, Nebraska where she did her Internship at Creighton University until 1979. From 1979 to 1981, Dr. Gerrish completed her Residency at University Hospital's Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio.


She is currently Board Certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Gerrish's primary specialty is Internal Medicine. She also has a special interest in rheumatology. She and her husband, Dr. Edwin Gerrish, spend their leisure time boating and traveling with their two children, Eddie and Greg.
