At Brown Clinic, we’re always looking for ways to improve the quality and responsiveness of the care we provide to our patients. We’re taking steps to improve the timeliness and responsiveness of office appointments while greatly improving access to Brown Clinic physicians by those patients who often need it most: those who are hospitalized.
Dr. Catherine Leadabrand and Dr. Hollis Nipe have assumed daily and ongoing responsibilities for Brown Clinic patients who are hospitalized at Prairie Lakes Hospital.
This means hospital patients will have direct and immediate access to a Brown Clinic physician at a moment’s notice. It also means no waiting for the doctor to finish appointments prior to discharge or for other daily consults.
Those who have been seeing either doctor for primary care may call Brown Clinic and a patient care specialist will help them select a new doctor from our other outstanding primary care physicians for their ongoing care.
This change will allow appointments with your new physician at Brown Clinic to be more timely, and in the event of a hospital stay, we are confident that you and your family will be very pleased with the improved level of responsiveness that Brown Clinic’s dedicated hospital doctors will be able to provide.
